came back from three days two nights in the city with fam. (:

i think it was a good break.
it definitely got us closer as a family, i think.
cos its been a while since ive actually spent that much time with them.
we got a free holiday at a random hotel (oaks apartment haymarket) because we bought some LG tv a while ago ahaha. and being an asian family, my rents didnt want to waste it. thus, we randomly went on a trip.


btw! before i forget, THANKYOU SO MUCH JUU for filling in for me in leading kiddy's worship. and thankyou chomo for doing it anyway even though i wasnt there. you guys rock (:


anyway, so technically the trip was only supposed to be for 2 people, but because my rents are paranoid about everything, we had to go as a fam, and again, being cheap asians, they didnt want to pay an extra $60 so that we would get a bigger room ==.


it was a pretty small room. like, the size of my kitchen, with a bathroom that was half the main room. okay so if there was only two people there, it would be sufficient. but there were FOUR. so yes. == bl us. and so, my parents, being the geniuses they are, decided that, because there was only ONE double bed in the room, and it couldnt possibly fit all four of us in it, took the mattress off, and gave us the bottom half of the bed. the FLAT one which is freaking HARD. so me and my sister piled pillows and cushions onto it to make it a bit more comfortable.


needless to say, it didnt really work.


the first day when we were heading to the city, we stopped at fish markets first. ate fish and chips, calamari rings, oysters, salmon sashimi ... omg fish markets is ultimate seafood paradise. i love it ! then we went to check in at the hotel, which then was about 2pm-ish. Got in, unpacked a bit, then went out because dad and steph wanted to go to kinokuniya. stayed there until it closed... 6pm? then ate at wagamama. that place has the most awesomest soup. as in noodle soup hahaha. its SO YUM. then we had to walk all the way back to the hotel which was close to chinatown =="


i swear that ive gotten majorly fit over these three days. well not really, but at least gotten a whole ton of exercise.


then back at the hotel we watched the pink panther on tv LOLOLOL. "i would like to buy a hamburger" LMAOOOOO. i love it ! so freaking hilarious.


then i was supposed to do an hour of study on eco, but i kept falling asleep on myself. aha. =="

the next day! that was sunday, so rents decided to go to CBC (blaze youth group? i think) for church. it was alright. very churchy. as in, it was one of those old church buildings. with pews and everything :D so it was cool. the speaker talked about how we would react to the resurrection and stuff.


then afterwards me and steph went to pepper lunch. OMGGG PEI ! i totally get what you mean now by pepper lunch being so absolutely awesome xD. it is WAAAAY awesome. so fun! you get like this hot plate with everything stacked neatly on it, and then you just mix it all around yourself, and it tastes so good too!! :D


then we went to caps and took sticker photos. then market city, shopped for a bit. GOT TWO LONSDALE TOPS FOR $35. they used to be $60 each yayayay. im so happy (:


and then went to jayjays and found that tshirt XD. me and SIC are gna wear it at camp yayzors. hahaha. i got the red one btw.


oh! and then we went to imax to buy tix for MONSTERS VS ALIENS, but it was sold out so we bought tickets for the 7pm show. walked around darling harbour from 4-6. ooh and we went to that riviera icecream place and ate this massive chocolate one, that i forgot what its called T_T. took lots of photos ahaha. went back to IMAX, got there at 6pm and waited in line for an hour for AWESOMELY AWESOME SEATS. they were like second row from the back, middle. xD so good!


MONSTERS VS ALIENS is a pretty cute movie. but its not gna be in my favourites haha. its cute, but yhea. thats it. i love insecto :D. and BOB is awesome too. lmaolmao "that two timing jerk!" and the president is waywayway lmao. "CRAZY FROG!!" (Y) it was good.


ate dinner, then went back to hotel. played big2 with fam. that was fun haha.


woke up at 9am on monday. checkout was at 10am D: so we had to uberrush in packing loll. then me and steph ate at delafrance for brekkie whilst rents yumcha-ed. then walked to paddys, and bought an "i love syd" tshirt. my collectioin is growing ! ive got i love paris, hk, ny, syd :D


went to fish markets afterwards to buy stuff for hotpot dinner :) so yummyyy. got sashimi, oysters, prawns, etc. it was good yummy seafood :D


and then thats about it. i actually got so much notes typed out tday! im so proud :D not finished yet though ==" sigh. thankyou chin for helping me in eco!!


tmrw is the coolest sunday school class ever outing :D YAAAAAAAY. i loveyou guys soo muchos. i cant wait. (: hopefully transport and all that stuff will be organised quickly T_T. i need to know asap. I MUST BE READY BEFORE 10AM OKAY.
