we remember

89/ thinking about all the awesome times we had makes me happy. Every blogger seems to have made their 'final goodbye speech to ruse2010'. SO OKAY MY TURNNNN. :DDD Dear Ruse 2010, It's been a looooooong six years. Yet paradoxically, it feels like just yesterday that I was with my mum on the first day of school in year 7, hanging around the notice board and looking around nervously because I KNEW NONE OF YOU. We had an assembly in the quad and we headed to the lecture theatre where we got given these Ruse folders and our diaries and THE TIMETABLES. That were so impossible to read back then because it was literally jibberish. Like what is MTL? Maths doesnt even have the letter L in it. But it got explained and even though we were all still very lost (except maybe Stacey because shes a person who just GETS things. And Captain Alan, I bet), we all headed to our second period. Since the assembly took up the first. I experienced the very epitome of the name of our high school as the first class- the awesome amazing Agriculture. AG5 mangz, we were the cool. I remember walking in and sitting next to JAN ZHANG! and I knew her name because she had her name on her pencilcase. I surreptitiously looked at it (y) teehee. I remember Sakthi was the last to walk in though, and we had 7 girls in the class so she had to sit by herself T_TT. It was awkward. And I don't even remember what class I had after that. Moving on, there were so many random year 7 memories. Peer Support Group: William was the Tree Man because he sat in the tree while we did our peer support group sessions on the front lawn. Grace and Mich and I were the only girls in our group, I think the others were like, Bainy, Vinson, ... and I've forgotten. LOL SOZ. Leave a message if you were in my PSG ): IM REALLY SORRYYY. And there was Peer Support Camp which was, pretty eventful. Maybe not in such a good way because there was just so much UNNECESSARY DRAMA FOR YEAR 7s. Got a cabin with Kadi, Frankie, Rol, and I also experienced (apparantly ==) the first of many times where I fell asleep midsentence. I remember Mas0n's class where we would just TALK all lesson and she hated Louie until Louie got a great english mark LOL. We had vis reps ALL THE TIME, and we had Bulj3v1c for science and Br1ggs for maths and when we learnt languages, Phil1p made us write name tags, and Simon had his upside down - NOWIS (: and she was talking to Grace about how her name was really nice in French and pronouncing it, said "grass" LOL. And in Ag, (forgot the name of teacher?!!) drew cherries and us being an immature class laughed kus the drawing was innuendo-ey. And Jack's kingdom. I went back today, actually. I just stood in that area behind the VA room and just .. contemplated. I often think about what my life would be like if Year 7 was different. If I was a better person back in Year 7 and not so sensitive. . it's weird, but I don't regret anything. I think. Year 8 was YA! year. I like to think that these epic people changed my life and made me into the person I am today (: (: It was really a time where I could be as crazy as I wanted to be and create random things. and 8L NUTCASES of course (: (: I still have that family tree somewheree.... but it was that year that Twistas were invented and VA room/ squashed grass became the hang out, and in Ag we dissected Bob the chicken and even had a funeral for it, and went to Easter Show with a group of awesome people, and I joined Cadets, and went on NZ ANNUAL - where the Bravin story has to be retold: So we were trekking through the bush with our heavy packs on and walking sticks. NZ isn't any other trek though, it was a perilous journey filled with mud puddles and mud swamps and mud quicksand. On that day, Bravin was the navigator and I had previously noticed that he wasn't one to care about mud on his pants. Like he would literally walk through mud where the rest of us (mainly me) would actually TRY to avoid the puddles. But anyhow, he was navigating, and as usual, went through the mud. Except this one time, he realised that the mud puddle was actually really deep and he's sort of stuck. So he turns around, and Mike (Gounder) is behind him. He turns around and goes "Hey Mike, can you help me out here?" and stretches out his arm. But Mike doesn't really hear him, and he moves... to go find a log to cross the puddle with. So Bravin who thinks that Mike's moving to help him, stretches out his arm ... and misses. AND FALLS INTO THE MUD SWAMP EVEN MORE LOLOLOLOLOLOL. Okay fine, maybe it was a had to be there moment. BUT IT REALLY WAS FUNNY. ... Maybe I just like to laugh at other people's expense P: HAHA sorry bro. Strangely enough, I don't remember a whole lot of Year 9. . . . . . . . . . OH but I remember that was the year that the first lot of the newbies came. We were all so excited ahahaha. And 8L became 9L and a lot smaller. Buuut... that was about it ): Maybe it'll come to me later. Year 10 has got to be one of my favourite years. Eurotour 08 was insane. To this day, it is still my favourite holiday ever ahahaha. And MIC, And I'm starting to burn out so I'm going to just leave it at that and let you guys reread my blog (starts from June 08) for the rest. (y) LOL. Sorry, I'm just lazy and VERY HUNGRYYYY ): And I'm also really really really really really really really sad that I cant find a lot of photos before Year10. T_TTTT. -cry- So if you guys have any photos of meeeee please email :DD I want to develop them for a photo album (: (: Or USB it to me :D ehehehe. Zomg this became a recap of memories, instead of an actual goodbye letter. ...oops. I'll try again tomorrow. LOL x back to the top? 2 comments
