i already miss rally TT_______TT
but ive heard from cho, that 470 people gave their lives to God yday night !!!!
praise the Lord so so so much. and ill pray for those 470 to continue to grow in their faith.

so! yday arvo i went to the bus stop outside castle mall to meet up with hannah, rfa, peter, kin and alwin. so when i got there, no one was there yet ! it was cold though so i thought it was quite stupid of me to get there so early. so then i called rfa, asking where he was. he said that he was coming but he was sorta late kus he forgot his ticket. that triggered the thought if i had my ticket with me. to my absolute dismay and panic, i had forgotten my ticket TOO T_____T!!!!!!!
it was horrible! i swear it was. so i called hannah and asked. and so forth. took a while but then ended up with mum having to take my ticket to aunty sindy and nara, kus nara hadnt left home yet, but yea ! it was okay ahahah. but it was sorta panicky and scary ==; but thankyou God that i was okay with my ticket !!!! actually my ticket was in my bible, like the front cover of it. i was gna bring my bible with me, but decided against it last minute, kus last year we didnt need it. T__T. hahaa. ah well.

so the bus trip there was okay. the bus driver was a bit of a bum though. kus we were getting on and i was first on the bus. and i was like 'concession ticket to city...'
and the bus driver was like 'you gotta show that you are concession first before you ask for it'
liek wth!? okay so ive rarely caught public buses, but still! must he be so stingy?!
so whatever, i showed him my ruse ID card (haha! thank goodness for the photo, and the bday!)
and he was like 'hmm kay blah blah' maybe he was trying to find a way to earn extra money o___o.
so okay, i was on the bus. $2.90 anyway!!! gsh what expensiveness.
then rfa was next but LOL he had no ID really kus the baulko ones dont have a bday on them. so the driver was all skeptical and whatnot, so rfa showed him tcard (LOL)
then the driver was going on about how he shouldnt have them anymore blahblah. and then says how he was being 'nice' and would let him on just this once. whatever.
same with kin. and with peter he didnt even check ==;.
laaaameeee. but yea, whatever. it was one of those bendy buses =D

on the way we tlked about cs, dota, games, olympics, usain bolt, etcetera.

then we got off at the city and we were early but then we decided to split up. hannah ended up having the dinner/lunch thing with fornna and some other people? im not sure. but me and lauren went around and shopped for cynf's birthday present, ill say what it is nxt sunday although cynf already knows what it is ==. hahaha.

then i called cho kus we were wondering if she wanted to split stuff with us, kus we had no money practically, lolll. but she was with lucas at market city so me and lauren decided to go join her. when we got there, we decided to look at the morning glory at market city and got what we wanted there. then we were lugging around the bags (its pretty big==) and went to galaxy world where rfa and kin and peter and alwin were. so we went around and i vsed peter at the daytona thingy. he won ==;. but ! then we saw cho and seph and bryan and others. OH! before that we saw juu and cynf and brenda. and also saw jon and kevin and others from living spring, and also saw kris and novem. oh then i also vsed seph at daytona and i beat him hahahahaha. suckers.

oh yea, and then peter decided to waste my last $1 to play this stupid game where youre supposed to whack this red button so a ball falls out of this chute and hopefully lands in a hole with however many tickets. cynf pressed the button though, and we ended up with three tickets>> in two gos==; stupid peter. but also stupid abi and stupid osh for suggesting to play the game in the first place.

so afterwards i found lauren and we decided to go get food. so we went to food court bought sushi, came back. and i decided to call pei and ask where she was. i found out that she actually was in food court~! so i went to look for her, but while i was, i ended up seeing delbo and jess and eddie. aw i missed delbo T_T so yea, and then i saw mish!!!! (omg i havnt seen mish for about a year i rkn) and yea, then i saw viv and kim and pei ! hehehee. oh i love you baulko people ~

i also saw jason and helen and susie and the ruseys again with pli this time, and yea! blahblahblah walked around a bit more, then while i was with the baulkos, i totally forgot about the time, about meeting at the telephone box outside entertainment centre at 5. so it was like 5 past 5 when i realised i needed to leave, and i was still at the food court in market city LOL. so i ran to the meeting place and yea. i wasnt late hahaha.

then i had to go get andrew and krys (oh i forgot to mention that i saw them before at galaxy world too) and then i lost the tyf crew. so i rang hannah and found where they were (the other side of the SEC) so i went there but then i realised i lost andrew and krys, so i went back and found them, and got them to where tyf was.

so we waited around for a bit, and when they opened the doors for us to get in, it was like *stampede*

not good !!!

everyone was getting pushed around, and the bad thing was was that we were going up steps and such ==; so it was gay. haha
but we got in alright and blah blah got seats.

anyway! i think ill start with the actual rice rally now hahaha.

it started off with these two people finding each other and accusing someone of being late (the whole 'waiting' theme) and then batman and violet from the incredibles came onstage and yea, this whole beach ball thing. loll. then we did some mexican wave in the dark, which was AWESOME. we all turned on our mobiles (you know, light from mobiles) and it was so cool! i never wouldve thought of it lolll! but yea! it worked, and it was awesome. then a band played and the choir went onstage and the lights came back on afterwards. oh there was a lol time though. peter tried to be cool and when batman was like 'ive got a superpower' he clicked his fingers and the lights went off. then afterwards, violet did it and i clicked my fingers and for a second the lights didnt come on so peter was like 'ahahaaaa *lols at me*' but then the lights came on and hes like 'oh.' LOLLL. owned more plox.

then we tried to find ina and anthony who were on the other side of the stage. so me and osh and chun went to find them and we got to the other side, i saw daniel, tlked for a bit, then found naa. and just as i found her, the lights went off again, so i had to go back. then there was some vid countdown, some vid about the rice expos and then after that we got underway! ie, steve chong came up onto stage and welcomed us and stuff.

and we played king caractacus!!!
i think thats how you spell it, loll.. basically we were divided into seven teams
king caractacus is an awesome hilarious game that works so well with big groups. (last year we played giants, wizards, elves and it was a bit messy)
so we had seven people standing at the front of the hall. one for each of the groups.
so steve chong would go

"king caractus has lost his considering cap. Some say this, and some say that. But i say its team number... x!"

and then team number x would have to stand up and go:

"no sir, not i sir!"
(and sit back down again)

then steve chong would go:

"then who sir?"

then the team x would stand up again and go:

"team number y, sir!"
(y would be the number the guy at the front on stage is holding up)

and then team number y would be like :

"no sir, not i sir!"

and x would stand up and go:

"then who sir"

and etcetc.

it sounds easy, but so hard, especially when the seats are the ones that fold up if nothing heavy is on it ==;

but it actually worked ! and it was so fun LOL. we were team 1 at first, but then became team 3. ==; the team that won were hackers. seriously. they were so pro hahaha.

anyway. that was way fun.
and there were songs and stuff, we sang truly worthy first (youre the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, youre the king of kings, the lord of lords, but still you call me friend) oh i love that song! then we sang indescribable, my fav song of all time until last night. (indescribable, uncontainable, you placed the stars in the sky and you know them by name, you are amazing, God.)

then we had rice olympics ("the athletes at beijing olympics really are only competing to get into RICE olympics" LOL) and it was china vs america !!! ie. Mr Won Ton Mein vs Mark Driscoll (our speaker for the night). LOLOLOL> WON TON MEIN hahahaha. so asian LOLLL. :L

so first game was cricket. it was hilarious kus Mr Won Ton Mein was like , no no ive got my own bat. and he produces this ping pong bat HAHAHAA. it was classic! and then they were like okay, heres the ball. and hes like no no, ive got my own ball. and he brings out a ping pong ball! hehehehe. so yea. it was quite the lol.

then after cricket was the weightlifting. and we did it the chinese way, again LOL. basically getting rice sacks and getting him to lift it. which was real easy, kus they were like, not heavy at all LOL. then after taht was some pushups. and Mr Won Ton Mein called out his helper, Mr Sang Choi Bao LOL.

and yea. he (Sang Choi Bao) had to sit on Mark Driscoll while he had to do pushups. and stuff. and then after that, more songs. we sang blessed be your name (blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be your name. blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be your glorious name)

and then we had the tlk.

and dude, seriously, it was intense.

the way he said it was like WOAH. the whole intention was to get us to realise how much Jesus really sacrificed for our sins. and the whole... description was intense. it was so so so horrible. it was like watching a horror film, but listening to it instead. and the whole loud microphone so that everyone could hear didnt help block out the sound. especially when Mark described the flogging. OMG T____T

it was just.. TT____TT i started crying. like, tears actually ran down my face. it was just so horrible and terrifying and the whole image felt excruciating. it was just so so so moving and it really made you shiver. and then he even showed a video, a sort of movie where jesus healed the soldier who peter cut off his ear, and his crown of thorns and him all bloody and the hands all bloody and it was just ... TT_____TT omg.

my words seriously cannot describe how awful it was. and Jesus was made to hang on the cross for three hours. THREE. not to mention the false trials the night before, sweating blood from the stress (a rare condition which happens to people only who stress a LOT), the betrayal from judas , one of his best friends, not sleeping the night before his crucifixtion, the flogging (basically, it was a whip - a cat of nine tails or something- with bones or hooks at the end, so that when the soldier who was flogging Jesus, it softened the flesh before the hooks dug into the skin and the soldier would be sure to rip it out, so that the hooks were surely digging into the flesh before inhumanely pulled out, ripping flesh and sometimes even bones out. some people didnt even survive through this ordeal) Jesus however, survived. And was made to carry an old, heavy, rugged cross, on his back, to the place of his crucifixtion. Remember, his skin was already all torn and broken and there would be blood just flowing everywhere. and Jesus couldnt do it. He was human, he couldnt carry the cross in so so so much pain. and thus the cross would fall on him, crushing him, and splinters from it would dig into his already ripped flesh, and hurt him so much more. eventually, someone had to carry the cross for Jesus, and Jesus did eventually end up at the hill where he was to be crucified.

and then nails, were literally nailed into his hands and his feet. as if he hadnt had gone through enough pain. Nails. driven through his hands and his feet. his flesh, with a hammer. just imagine the pain. you probably cant ! and even after that, a crown of thorns, thorns which were about 7ish inches were made into a crown and pressed into his head, so that blood poured out from those wounds too. and just to mock Jesus, they put a sign, above him, saying 'King of the Jews'.

now in those days, crucifixtion was the most horrendous way of dying and the most humiliating, because people were allowed to come right up to them and spit on the crucified people and jeer at them and laugh at them and taunt them. Jesus, had done nothing wrong. Nothing. He never jeered, spat, laughed, taunt, at anyone. ever. He was honestly, truthfully, sinless. he hadnt done anything wrong. and i know it sounds SO unbelieveable. but it really really was. no proof? there was. pharisees and teachers of the law would come and try every chance to make Jesus make a fault in his life. they honestly got owned. every time. And even at the end, Jesus was brought to false trials, with false witnesses and false testimonies. Just because he claimed that he's the son of God. but he is ! he's made so many miracles happen - the soldier's ear was probably the last one he did before he died. but the pharisees and the soldiers and people just turned a blind eye to everything.

so yes. Mark continued to emphasise on the fact that chrisitans call it 'the good news'. so he asked us, 'how can this be good news?' and if you really think about it, how can it be good news?! Jesus was falsely crucified, and its good news?! but yes, its good news, because Jesus died, for us.

so that WE dont have to go through that sort of death. so that we dont have to end up going to hell and going through even worser pain.

its good news.

and yeaa, i cried like tons. and i was sniffling and everything, and peter and josh who were sitting next to me just looked at me and were like o_____o .......are you okay?

after the talk, steve chong came up and invited us to pray a prayer of inviting Jesus into our hearts. and then there were feedback cards that came around and we filled them in, and then steve told us about the RICE lounge, which is where people go talk to leaders about what theyve heard and asked questions and such. and then steve said that he'll ask people to go to the lounge after the first verse and chorus of 'surrender'.

surrender is now my favourite song in the entire world.
because the lyrics just completely say everything i want to say.

and omg! yea, 470 gave up their lives to follow the Lord Jesus Christ, and God. 470 people have been saved. Steve Chong, i want to be like you when i grow up! hahaha, to impact so many people in one go. i really really really admire that. and when i was singing surrender, and watching all the people walk to the lounge, i wanted to cry again. i got tears in my eyes hahaha. i was just so moved and inspired and just loved how God could touch people's hearts so so so easily.
